Leader
Environmental Health Sciences

Aubrey is excited to be the new Baltimore Carolina Club Leader! She is originally a midwestern gal from Cleveland, Ohio but now bleeds Carolina Blue. At UNC, she was an Environmental Health Sciences major, Morehead-Cain Scholar, leader of the Women's Club Water Polo team, and an active member of the Environmental Fraternity (Epsilon Eta). After UNC, Aubrey worked in environmental education with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and then received her Master's Degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University.  She is now the Climate and Resilience Planner for Baltimore City's Department of Planning in the Office of Sustainability.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring beautiful Baltimore, dabbling in pottery, and of course, cheering on the Heels!

Clinical Laboratory Science

Elsbeth moved to Baltimore in 2009 by way of Ann Arbor after graduating from Carolina in '04.   Elsbeth is a nurse in the pediatric ER at Hopkins. She enjoys going to breweries, wineries, and neighborhood festivals. She lives in Patterson Park with her two French bulldogs. She was the leader of the Ann Arbor Carolina Club for a few years as well as the Baltimore Carolina Club for almost 10 years.  Elsbeth looks forward to meeting you out and about at events, and she's taking over the community outreach role - so definitely let her know when things pop up that you think would be fun to do in our community with other Tar Heels!
