While we are socially distanced, we can still make a difference. Celebrate this year’s Tar Heel Service Day on Oct. 12 with a virtual fun run and/or contactless service project! Sign up to run or walk a 5k (3.1 miles) anytine the week of October 12 to benefit the UNC related organization of your choice (like the Baltimore Carolina Club Scholarship Fund!). You set the time, course, and pace (although the GAA would love to help with the soundtrack) and all $15 of your registration fee will be donated to your select UNC benefitting organization. 5k participants will all receive a digital bib for their run and have the option to purchase a special Tar Heel Service Day 5k t-shirt. GAA members will receive a Tar Heel Service Day mini-pennant when they sign up for the 5k. You can also sign up for any contactless service project if you do not want to do a 5k.
