We have decided to tag along with Volunteering Untapped as their monthly service event happens to fall on October 12 and it sounds like a lot of fun!
From Volunteering Untapped description of the volunteer event on October 12 at 10am:
Our October event will take us to Baltimore International Academy. This organization provides an academically rigorous, internationally orientated and socially responsible learning environment that challenges all students to achieve.
We will be helping the team with painting walkways, playgrounds, railings, stenciling inside and cleaning the rec center and classrooms to help improve the facility.
Parking is available in a lot on Sidehill Road or on the street. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that can be painted in.
